Invitation to NRW Research Data Day 2023

In just four days, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, you will have a unique opportunity to dive into the world of Research Data Management (RDM) and explore its interfaces with Artificial Intelligence (AI). This year’s Research Data Day is themed ‘Promoting and Refining Data: Unearth Your Data Treasure’. The event is hosted by the RDM team of RWTH and the Jülich Research Center.

Program Highlights

From Data to Diamonds – Empowering Research with AI and RDM

  • Lectures on AI & RDM: Experts from RWTH and Jülich Research Center will discuss the synergies between RDM and AI. Look forward to exciting insights into how AI can assist in finding, preparing, and analyzing research data, and how effective RDM facilitates the use of AI methods.
  • Posters and Networking: Researchers and Data Stewards present their projects and offer insights into their work in the field of RDM.

Registration and Online Participation

The event is aimed at all those active in, interested in, and experts in RDM and AI. You can register for on-site participation in Aachen via the RWTH event database. For those unable to attend in person in Aachen, online participation in the lectures is possible. Use the respective Zoom registration link for this.

Morning Program – Online via Zoom

Additionally, a virtual morning program will take place on November 14 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. Here, researchers and RDM experts from NRW will share their experiences and best practices in RDM. This offers an excellent opportunity to learn firsthand from leading figures in this field.
