Here we are !
After a long day of plane and train transfer, we’ve all gather at Bremerhaven, and boarded to the Polarstern. Now, she is still on the pier, and the crew is working hard to prepare the ship for the upcoming missions. (PS-99, PS-100 and PS-101 legs in the Arctic Ocean)
This morning, scientists are meeting together, introducing themselves to all the team, and try to access at their stuffs, somewhere in the container of the boat… To be continued !.

Box opening!
Today, we’ve have a briefing by the chief officer about life on board, what to do or to avoid. For example, there is strict privacy rules : never open a closed door, someone may be working or sleeping behind, don’t forget that this ship is manned 24h per day !. We must also sort our garbage for compaction, because nothing is thrown on the sea !
Then, scientists had access to their stuffs. They were retrieving their devices, instruments, microscopes, and so on… they packed and send before leaving their labs. Now, they are setting their respective labs, very impatient to start collecting samples !
