What do physics students do during the summer break? Some of them join a summer school, that is offered by various research organizations. Some Helmholtz centers als offer this kind of opportunity. Nearly 120 young students from all over the world joined the DESY summer school this year. The majority of the lives and works at DESY Hamburg. 20 students participate in the eight weeks long programme in Zeuthen, close to Berlin. This week I visited them for a day and did some interviews.
